More than 25 years ago after Jeremiah creatively popped the question and Angie said yes; the two felt led to be married by a military chaplain.
Upon their first visit with the chaplain, he asked: “Do you want to do marriage God’s way or man’s way?” Angie and Jeremiah did not fully understand what he was asking since they did not grow up in the church and had come from generations of divorce.
Fortunately, the chaplain recognized their dysfunctional background through a series of questions in their initial meeting and thankfully he tailored his mentoring and curriculum to best set them up for success!
Because they were open to seeing what God had to say about marriage, he enthusiastically went to work helping them develop a plan that would honor God and each other before they said their “I do’s”.
When they learned what it meant to be in a covenant marriage -- modeling Christ and His bride -- they developed the spirit of generosity towards one another, loved deeply and committed to marriage enrichment annually.
However, they cannot take all the credit for their marital bliss; thus, this site and ministry is dedicated to all of those who have mentored them and prayed God's blessings over and into their lives.
